I am a senior too

KBU International College

Now is an exciting time for all of us! I can't believe that I am a senior now too. It is because I really doesn't feel like I have been coming to KBU International College for around 1 year. I remember getting my letter/acceptance package at my hometown, and ecstatatically opening it and read what is inside there. Haha! I was so lucky because Raymond got the same course as me. So, both of us together went to KL. I don't really love KBU College from the first time I visited. I even considered of going back to labuan to go for matriculation program. It was too late already. Raymond also feel like wanted to give up and choose petronas scholarship. Haha! After nearly 1 year here, I started to love the college for so many reasons. First, is the people that I found here. The people that become close to me really do become my best friends. They are my supportive group, I don's know what I would do without my amazing housemates or my great group of friends. They will go out with me on the weekends, watch Transformer together, and always out for tea breaks when I am tired of studying. Junior is coming today, what should we do?

Ming Chai said we should go for them. Go get them!!!

In your dreams , Ming Chai!

I Miss You

I Miss You
By James & Janet
Looking at the sky,
The stars align,
An image of you,
In my eyes.
Your sweet smile,
Your funny jokes,
Your tight embrace,
Your hug,
Wishing you were here for me.
I miss you, darling.
Though I see you daily,
From visions of the past.

Kapit 8-10 June 2009

Sandy, Janet, James and Andy.
Sandy, Andy and Janet.

Amazing trip! It was Sunday, Andy and I decided to go to Kapit on Monday. I was the one who insisted of going to Kapit. I think I was mad and insane that time. I never thought of going to Kapit, I guessed it was really God’s plan for me. Hehe! Well, some of you may wonder why I go to Kapit. Ok! The reason is very simple, I went to Kapit to meet with one of my friends, whose name is Janet. Ya!!! She is a girl not a boy. Amazing right? Never thought of James Ton will do such things, right? Haha! Ya! I myself also feel unbelievable. At first, I told her that I will go to Kapit tomorrow, which was Monday. She was shock! She thought I was kidding, same goes to Andy. I kept on insisting him that I was serious about it! At last, Andy agreed to follow me.
On Monday, Andy and I took express to Kapit on 7.30 am. We arrived at Kapit around 10 am, since I had nothing to do inside the express, I switched on my laptop and listen to the music. When we arrived, Janet was there already, waiting for us. She brought us to her house. After settling everything down, she brought us to eat roti canai. The roti canai was special, I thought it could only be found in Kapit. Kapit was just a simple and ordinary town. Although it was simple, actually it was a nice place to live in. People there seem to know each other well. It was totally different from KL. After that, we went back to her house again. We ate our lunch together with her family. Her mum home-cooked meal was really nice, made us drool and stomach rumble. Chicken soup! Really felt thankful to her mum. Then, we went to play badminton together, it had been ages since I last touched my racket. However, when I first started playing badminton, the feeling was still the same. It was still James Ton. My skill was still there. Even feel much more powerful. Haha! It was really enjoyable to play badminton with them ( Andy, Janet, and Sandy). Later, we went to visit the church in Kapit. The church was located high up on the mountain. I managed to walk around the church and took some photos. At the same time, I enjoyed myself looking at Sandy and the children practiced singing a song. Janet was a pianist. I have never heard such powerful and confident vocal. It was really a nice performance. Good luck!

Janet and James.

Cool le!

The place where accident took place.

At night, around 9 pm, we decided to ride motor to go to eat rojak. Sandy fetch Janet. I fetch Andy. Something really terrible happened in my life. I was trying to ride my motor up to the mountain. At first, I use gear 3 to go up, but then I change my gear to gear 2. However, Andy and I sense that with gear 2, it was impossible to go up. The engine sound like going to burst soon. So, I changed to the first gear. Something unexpected happened, once I changed to gear 1, I lost control and the front tyre was above my head. You could imagine how serious the situation was. I was pushed by the resultant force of the motor. I fell down into the drain with my back lying on the ground. Andy was safe, he quickly ran towards me and helped me up. At that moment, I was blank and blur. After a few seconds, I could feel my left hand was in excruciating agony. Then, I started to feel dizzy. I felt unsteady and losing my balance. Janet and Sandy was shock to see me like that. Later, Sandy sent me to the hospital. The nurse helped to clean my wound and I was given an injection. After all, everything was fine. My body was still in good condition. No bone was broken, no internal bleeding. I could still crack jokes with my friends and janet’s mum. They were really shocked and worried about me. I still could remember that I keep on telling them that, “I am fine.”, “I am ok.”, “don’t worry.” I really felt sorry to let them feel worried and unsafe that night. Anyway, I managed to crack joke and said that with that wound I will look man a bit. Haha!
The next day, we went to eat breakfast together. During noon time, we went to the stream. We took a lot of photos together. We really enjoyed ourselves and spent our time chit-chatting with each other. At night, Janet’s mum brought us to eat rojak to complete our mission. I finally ate that rojak, it was really nice and special. After that, her mum brought us around the whole Kapit. She drove up the mountain and down again. It was really amazing and the cool air was really relaxing. It could only be found in Kapit. Andy and I went back to Sibu on Wednesday morning. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed ourselves a lot. I also need to thanks God for his guidance and blessing during this holiday.I believe, someday, when I am old, I will look back on this moment as the happiest time in my life. God bless!

Windows 7, Durian Cheesecake

I just realized that I actually didn't post anything in the last 2 weeks. So, today I decided to spend some time to upgrade my blog. I have been busy with loads of assignment and test..etc. A lot of things have been happening recently. First, is about my laptop. I have been formatting the hard drive for 4 times, I need to thank one of my friends " Mustakin" for teaching me how to format a laptop hard drive. At first, I change my windows form Vista to windows 7. Unfortunately, due to first hand experience, I fail to upgrade the laptop. So, I have no choice but to reformat again, and all my important data was gone including my 30G of songs. Haiz! Then, I try Windows XP, reformat successfully but I don't have the driver for XP. Next, change back to Vista again. After an hour, I felt like wanted to try Windows 7 again. Haha! This time I finally manage to download the Windows 7. To comment about Windows 7, it is a trial version till next year March, much better than Vista, lighter and faster. The theme looks good on Windows 7 Utimate. During this couple of weeks, I have to finish two BIG assignments and 3 tests . I was tired and lack of sleep. I wish to sleep till late late, but I can't. Today, I finally can release all the stress and distraction. I went to Midvalley, Low Yat again, and watch X-Men Origins Wolverine in cinema. I also went to eat 1 set of chicken cordon and one slice of durian cheesecake at Secret Recipe. Pure fresh durians and cream cheese, this is what I call real durian cheesecake. Yummy....... God Bless!!!

Susan Boyle

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PPlkOyaqaQ

Britain's Got Talent 2009

Click this link to watch Susan Boyle, 47 years old, singing ' I dreamed a dream'. For me, I seldom watch anything in You Tube more than once but this time, I have watched it over and over again. It was really amazing and fantastic show. I even downloaded this video into my hard disk. At first, everyone is laughing at her but after the audition everyone is shock by her beautiful voice. So, from this video, I learn one thing . That is don't judge people by their appearance. Try to look at the video and look at how everyone turn speechless by her performance. If you go and listen to the original song, I think Susan voice is much better. I wish to see her next show and hope that she will produce a good performance and create another miracle. God bless!

Mission complete + Poem

I can't move, I am exhausted mentally and physically. I didn't stop moving from 10.30 a.m. till 7.00 p.m. I went to Low Yat Plaza to claim my mouse under the warranty. I feel so glad to get rid of that lousy mouse. Now, I have a new one. Haha! Finally, I got a gaming laser mouse for myself. About my new mouse, it have the adjustable weight cartridge, adjustable sensitivity, 7 buttons for me to click. After I got the mouse, then I went back home but before that I went to watch a poetry reading in One Utama with my friends. Okay, I need to rest now. Hope you relax and enjoy reading this poet by Bernie Yeo.

Through My window - Bernie Yeo

Through my window,
I see the rain,
I smell the earth,
I feel pain.
Through my window,
I hear children crying,
I feel her shiver,
people are dying.
Out my window I taste the breeze,
I see red comets,
the man is praying.
Through my window I smell the coming of the hall,
I feel upset,
I hear her langhter,
I taste fear on his mouth.
Out the window I see the sea,
I smell the damp earth,
people are dancing in the rain.
From my window, I cry sad tears, I smell gardenias, I think of you.

End

God bless!

Amazing night

I remember a night when I looked at the sky. There is no star on the sky. In KL, seldom the stars will come out at night. However, tonight it seemed to be different and the sky is full of stars. My friends and I spend around RM20 for our dinner in One Utama. All of us order the same food, " New York fish and chips." Hehe! After that, we went to the park just approximately 1 minute walking distance from our house. It was a special night, it have been quite a long time we didn't spend our time together and chit-chating among many things with each other. I believe everyone is too stress up with the Ausmat course and too many pressure due to the demands of the course. We all were worried about keeping our grades up so we could get into a good university and having a hard time balacing all the demands on our time: assignments, relationship....etc. Tonight, everyone wishes to relax. I myself was enjoying the night sky and allow all of my worries to fly into the expanse of the universe. It was truly an amazing night for all of us. God bless!

House

I fully intended to blog today about the house that I am now living in. We always called is as, " student house " I still could remember the first day I came to this house. I was so happy and grateful that I got a single room for myself. The warden said to us that the house cost around RM 800000. Believe it or not? Haha! In my opinion, this house not worth the money to buy. Actually, it is only looks nice on the outside, but the inside just normal. The house consists of 3 floors, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms (sometimes still not enough), 1 balcony, tall ceilings , narrow's staircase, 1 kitchen , 1 living room and 10 students. Ok la, the reason I wrote this is just to keep it as my memory and to show off. Haha! God bless!

No more badminton

I am feeling dizzy these few days. I found out that I always like to do mistake. My brain started to work slower and can't think properly. I didn't go for exercise anymore. No more badminton! No more powerful smash! No more jumping smash! Can't reach up for the shuttle! No more backhand swing! No more overhead clear shot! And of course, no more double partner. It had been quite some time since I last played badminton. Haiz! Sometimes, the hardest thing in the world is to get up and get going, even when we know we must, to be healthy and fit. It is still really hard to get motivated due to our own laziness. Anyway, I will try my best, at least go for jogging to gain back my stamina. God bless!

Be grateful for...

This week it seemed to be less homework given by the lecturer. I have just finish my English assignment which is about taking notes while listening to a lecture, and write a short summary about it. Next, is about the impromptu speech, I feel glad with my result. When mention about marks, sometime, I feel annoyed when someone get a high mark and yet still want to complain about it. We must always appreciate for what God have given to us. Try to appreciate the things you have now, dont try to make a situation more stressful due to your own selfishness. Then, we have to appreciate especially the goodness of people we meet on the way....someone you love. Appreciation actually is a wonderful feeling, don't overlook it. It is also one of the way of stress relief. I know life can be tough, so we must try to tell ourselves not to give up. We shall go on to the end and shall never surrender. God bless!

Relax

Finally, I was able to rest well. This afternoon I slept for around 3 hours without anyone trying to disturb me. I can sleep peacefully after struggling for so long with the packed schedule, assignment and test. It doesn't mean I finish all my work already. Just that I try to listen to one of my teacher's advice. She said that, we need to have one day off for us to relax. Then, we will feel rejuvenate and fresh; thus can do a job much better. God bless!

Easter

Resurrection of Jesus
Alleluia! Praise the Lord! Today is the day Jesus has arranged for all of us. I believe without this day, we may not know who He is. Fammi, you asked me what is meant by Easter, right? Easter is the celebration of Christ's resurrection from the death. He rose physically and spiritually from the death. This year, I didn't recieve any easter egg wor. Nevermind la!

Easter egg

Hey guy! Do you really believe that Christ has risen from death? I personally want to share something with you all. If the resurrection of Jesus was just an intentionally false statement or a lie from His disciples; then, why did the disciples want to sacrifice their own life and future? Why the disciples have a 180 degree change and instantly change to be holy men. Why after 2009 years, the scientists and researchers still unable to prove that Jesus does not resurrect. And, nowadays, why still got priest came from China to serve in Malaysia? Why? Why? Why? So, think again! Some of the people may say that the risen of Jesus was just a hoax. Anyway, if you asked me, " What is the thing called Christianity? " I don't know what I should say to respond, but i know what my opening line would be, " Let me tell you about a person whose name is Jesus. " Okay! Today, it seemed to my my unlucky day again. I missed both the bus to and fro the Kelana Jaya bus station. I had to cycle under the rain when I went back. Haiz! .... Christ the Lord is risen! Happy Easter! God bless!

PC fair

I went to PC fair together with Raymond and Yat Seng. This year it seemed to be lesser people going but still crowded. I managed to buy a 8GB Kingston pendrive and a gaming laser mouse. Unluckily, I can't use the mouse, I think it is spoilt already. The laser senser is not working. I felt so disappointed, I think I have to go to Low Yat Plaza to claim a new one under the warranty. Haiz, waste my time and money again. Talk about PC fair, I think the price of laptop doesn't seem to be cheaper. The only good thing is that there are a lot of free packages like free upgrade of memory, cooling pack, mouse....etc. After torturing our legs for 4 hours, we were sweaty, weary, hungry and thirsty. To fill our stomach, we went to Pizza Hut. The delicious and tantalizing food made us drool........God bless!

Good Friday - Truth

Today will be my fourth time to celebrate Good Friday after I was baptised on 19 April 2006. when I was young, I never thought of going to church, celebrate Good Friday or whatever celebration related to Christianity. But then, unexpected thing happen in my life. When I studied in secondary school. I met a friend, who is a RC. I still could remember the moment I accepted the invitation from God. My good friend asked me to follow him to go to church with his family. The mass was at night, and I still could remember the place that I have sat. I was just like an Alien who didn't know anything. What to say? What to do? And how to act during the mass. Well, that is the moment I started to know Him--Jesus. I started to go for bible class to prepare myself for baptism. Till today, I really feel blessed and thank God for everything He arranged for me. Of course, I will like to thank especially to the one that ask me to go to church. All the things that I mentioned is a truth. This afternoon there was a heavy rain that nearly affect me from going to church. But then, the rain stop for a while, then I managed to cycle to the bus stop. After that, rain started again. But it is okay, because I am in safe zone already. Celebration of Good Friday here have not much difference than that in Sibu. The only difference is the number of people who attend the mass. In Sibu, when came to Good Friday, all the churches will be crowded and extra seats are needed. Here, it is the otherwise. I dont know why. To conclude, I feel glad to be a RC. I never regret for the decision that I make. I think that everything happens to me, there is a reason..........that is..........FOLLOW HIM. Have a blessed Good Friday. God Bless!

Jesus Christ's statues

First of all, when you saw this photo, don't think that I am insane, having so many Jesus Christ's statues. The most right hand side is Mother Mary while the most left is St. Christopher, then the rest are Jesus Christ. Actually Raymond and I think of an idea of giving some suitable presents for our old friends who are now studying in Labuan under Matriculation Program. After struggling on what to buy, we finally came out with this idea. That is by giving them the small cross. Next week, they will be having their final exam and after that, everyone will seperate and continue their further studies in local universities. Here, i would like to say, " Wish you all good luck! Follow your dreams for they will always lead you in the right direction. " Somehow or other, I really hope that I am now still studying in SMK Sacred Heart. The moment that we fool around, playing badminton, crack jokes and etc. When you look back at your life, I am sure you'll regret the things you do less. YA! I regret for not actually took enough photos with my classmates. HAIZ! The only things left is my memory. Well, a childhood is what anyone wants to remember of it and what we remember from our childhood, we remember it forever. God bless!

Lightning

There is something wrong in KL. I think most of you will definitely agree with what i am trying to tell today in this post. It is about raining in KL. What is so extraordinary or remarkable about it? Well, one thing I noticed is that whenever it rains, sure, 100%!. The rain will be accompanied by a huge and scary thunderstorm and ligthning. Sometimes it doesn't have to be raining for lightning to strike. While thunder won't hurt you-lightning will! So, it is really important to pay attention when you hear thunder. One should make sure that you don't go and make call with your buddy outside the house. Who knows what will happen next! I still could remember at one time, there is a lightning strike and my room was shaking for around 2 seconds. This sort of thing will never happen in my life or my hometown until I came to KL. In Sibu, at least, I still can enjoy the sweet melody of the rain. In KL, if you see dark clouds, then lightning could be present. Therefore, if you're indoors, avoid water, so do not take a shower, do not use electric equipment like laptops and appliances during a storm. Stay away from window and stay off porches. If you're outdoors, stay away from trees, crouch down in the open area, keeping as far away from a tree as it is tall. How if someone is struck by lightning? Hallelujah! I think the best way is to call for help and pray for him ba.God bless!

Palm Sunday

Palm leaves in Sibu
Palm leaves here.

After posting on the topic of lent. Today, I will write something about Palm Sunday. Yesterday, I went to the church to celebrate on what we called Palm Sunday. So, what is the story behind this celebration? Well, it was actually celebrating the day when Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem while people waved palm leaves and cheered at him. Unfortunately, less than a week later, Jesus was killed. The palm leaves that were waved in joy became ashes of sorrow. So, in our church, we use to keep the palm leaves from Palm Sunday till next year. Then, we burn them and mix them with some water to form ashes, to be used again during Ash Wednesday. Palm Sunday actually is the last week of lent season and beginning of Holy Week. OK, back to what happen yesterday. First, i went to the prayer room to prepare for my confession. Guess what? I have to queue up for making a confession. Since Good Friday is just around the corner, everyone started to go for confession. After confession, I went around the church to search for palm leaves. Finally, I manage to get one for free. One thing I noticed is that the palm that they used was really different from that I saw in Sibu. All of us were asked to stand outside the church and waved our palm leaves and sang a song named 'Hosana#$@%'( forgot the name already). After that, we return to our place and started listen to the gospel, and things just goes like what we always do in the church. We are required to take the blessed palm leaves home. Some people believe that it can help to bless our family and so on. Raymond believe it can help to chase away ghost. Ok!that is all i want to share with you people. God bless!

LENT

Good friday is coming soon. So, during this season, we need to take some serious time to pray and figure out where God is in our lives, and where God is calling us to serve. We need to re-focus our lives to be more in line with God. FRIENDS!! REMEMBER TO PRAY HARD!! The prayer will be very powerful, you can also experience God's forgiveness as we return to Him. Now, i would like to introduce some cool things to do during lent season. Before that, what does Lent have to do with us? Lent is a resolution to simplify our lives, and return to the One who loves us--Jesus. Student like me, it's pretty easy to get caught up with assignment, test, and etc. Our lives are filled with stress and distaractions that take us away from living a life with Christ. We try to fill our free time with mindless video games, dating with girls (not me) and meaningless alcohol or other things. So this lent season is a time for us to give up somethings like tv, pc games and cutting out all that distracts us to leave time with God.

COOL THINGS TO DO FOR LENT
  1. Skip one meal a day and give the money to the poor.
  2. Start a prayer"rhythm. "Say a prayer every time you brush your teeth,or check your e-mail.
  3. Read a chapter in the Bible a day. (Matthew is a good gospel to start with).
  4. Forgive someone who doesn't deserve it (maybe even yourself).
  5. Give up coco-cola or beer. Give the money you save to charity.
  6. Spend thirty minutes a day in silence.
  7. Write someone a thank you letter.
  8. Say one nice thing to someone each day.
  9. Pray for others on your way to work or school.
  10. Volunteer one afternoon a week at your church, a home for underprivileged, tutoring program etc.

Before i conclude, i personally feel very touched that there are some non-Catholics around me who at least still try to accept and believe in Roman Catholic by attending my Church. GOOD JOB! KEEP IT UP! Unlike others who never try to understand and accept it. "Those who hear the word and accept it, bear fruit a hundredfold" God bless!

Bicycle

What is the things that you need the most in your everyday life?Perhaps your handphone, camera or the bible.Well, after I start my german class, bicycle is one of the things that I can't live without it.Early morning I have to cycle to the college;climbing up the hill, riding down the hill with high speed. It is a kind of fun. However, sometimes when the road is wet,the dirty H2O will splash up onto my clothes.Disgusting! Why I want to cycle to college instead of using the van?It is not because I want to exercise, but is because I want to wake up late,to enjoy my sleep.Well, cycling could be dangerous with the present of some irresponsible drivers.Sometimes,I really can't believe the way cars don't respect me.I still could remember at one time, the car driver just simply took a right turn in front of me at the junction near the student houses. The second time was when I saw my friend 'Raymond' being horned by the idiot who didn't have a sense of sympathetic.Anyway, bygones be bygones.Ok!Ok!Cycling is actually quite enjoyable, sometimes you could feel that you are flying, especially when you ride fast down the hill.I like to watch the scenary on the way and the cool breeze caressing my face.To conclude;riding bicycle is a perfect thing in my life.

Since it is already midnight, most of the mama shop have been closed. Fortunately, we managed to find one at around 2pm.Everyone of us feel tired and exhausted plus not enough sleep. We have to wake up at 7am and took a breadfast in the hotel. At 9am,we took a bus from Ipoh to sitiawan. The main reason we went to sitiawan is for documentary.Raymond and I have to use foochow to communicate with them.Unfortunately, they dont really understand what we are talking about, because foochow in sibu and sitiawan are not the same. So,USE CHINESE LO!In that afternoon,we went to the port lumut, then took a ferry to the resort island of Pangkor.Pangkor island gave us a chance to enjoy a serene escape.Unforturnately,we dont have chance to snorkel, since we have not enough time as we have to go back sitiawan again. On the next morning,we went to visit the Church of St.Francis de Sales, which is just a 5-minute walk from our hotel. The church is quite small but i am glad to have a chance to take some photos.Later on, we continue to work on our documentary till 2pm.Then we took a bus back to Ipoh again and use KTM to go back to KL Sentral.Overall,my friends and I really enjoyed ourselves a lot during this trip.I also have to thank God for His guidance over the journey. Flood in Sibu

Back to KL again after a one week break of cny. During this whole week, my hometown Sibu rained continuously, as a consequence, most of the lower area were submerge in flood. Haiz , hate it so much. I couldn’t manage to visit most of my old friends and relatives as well. Anyway, luckily I still able to play firecrackers on the cny eve. Hehe! I am wondering , why every year during cny sure got flood de. Is it because of Sibu people play too much firecrackers, and God try to punish us. Haha! Kidding! Well,I need to thank those who sell the firecrackers, without them, I think Sibu people will have to use the artificial firecracker which run by electricity to replace the old one. Traffic jam!All the people in Sibu are using this road to go back home .On Sunday, i nearly late for my flight at 2.25pm.I just reached the Sibu airport in time.Well, i have to say, "no next time ,thank you." God bless.Pray hard.
As u could see here, Sibu Pasar had been flooded seriously

The worker had to put all the things to the upper area .Gambateh!

Pity small kancil, can't move already.STUCK LE!

Although expensive,it is worth. The competition ended at approximately 6.30pm.After that, we took our lunch together at Pasar Seni. Around 8.30pm,they went back to their own hostel at Sham Alam. I myself went back to student house alone.I felt extermely tired and exhausted.Anyway, i still need to thank them to accompany me.It's a great preasure to meet them.Don't worry ah(friends from intec)i will miss you all.

Blessed life

Welcome to my life! From now onward,i will share with you all about my blessed life, including the time when i am happy or unhappy. Before i create my account, i have been viewing some of my friends' blogs. I found out that most of them are facing the same problem as me.I believe this year will be a tough and challenging year for all the students and sure crack a lot of our heads . Hope that no one will commit suicide, always remember that God is with us and guide us through every rough waves . Jesus loves us all .
